Recent Vehicle Wrap Projects
Recent work for businesses across Chicagoland. Every wrap, including Hanover Park vehicles, is installed in our Itasca shop.
Where the Elgin-O'Hare starts
Hanover Park sits on the Cook and DuPage county line, and its biggest selling point to business is a piece of road. The IL-390 Elgin-O'Hare Tollway begins at Lake Street (US-20) in Hanover Park and runs east through Schaumburg, Roselle, Itasca and Wood Dale toward O'Hare. The village leans on that in its own marketing, pointing to its spot at the terminus of IL-390 and roughly 15 miles from the airport. The original expressway opened here in November 1993.
Add the Metra Milwaukee District West station, with trains to Chicago's Union Station, and Pace Route 554 toward Elgin and Schaumburg, and Hanover Park becomes a place a lot of people pass through on the way somewhere else. For a wrapped vehicle that is useful: commuters on the tollway and at the station see the same trucks day after day.
Lake Street, Barrington Road and Irving Park Road
Three roads come up again and again in the village's own history and plans, and each one shows a wrapped vehicle to a different crowd.
Lake Street (US-20)
Lake Street was widened and resurfaced in the 2000s, and its intersection with Barrington Road is now six lanes. The village's economic development office is on West Lake Street, the village has its own Lake Street corridor study, and the road leads straight to the start of IL-390. Traffic moves, so a design has to read quickly: a strong logo, a short service line and a phone number big enough to catch at a light.
Barrington Road and the Ontarioville area
Barrington Road connects with County Farm Road through the underpass beneath the Metra tracks. Just south of Lake Street, at County Farm and Ontarioville roads, is Ontarioville, the old railroad stop that became part of Hanover Park in 1982. Vehicles parked near the station are seen by commuters twice a day.
Irving Park Road (IL-19)
Irving Park Road is the village's older commercial strip, an eclectic mix of storefronts and strip centers that the village studied with help from the Chicago Metropolitan Agency for Planning and the Urban Land Institute. The corridor plan calls for better streetscaping, reworked parking and redevelopment of vacant retail, and the former Menard's site has since been redeveloped with senior living. The village also bought and renovated the Hanover Square Shopping Center. For a business with a storefront on Irving Park, a wrapped vehicle parked out front is the cheapest second sign you can buy.
Industry, shops and a global village
Hanover Park reports more than 430 businesses and about 5 million square feet of industrial space, spread across business parks such as Turnberry Lakes, which opened in 1990. The village's list of major employers reads like a cross-section of suburban industry: Tri-Dim Filter Corporation, Insight Enterprises, Camcraft, Fisher Scientific, Round Ground Metals, Jabil, FujiFilm and MSC Industrial Supply, alongside Menards and two independent grocers, Caputo's and Tony's Finer Foods. Plants like these keep a steady stream of maintenance techs, equipment reps and delivery drivers moving through the same business-park lots every week, and those drivers notice whose vans keep showing up.
The village calls itself "America's Global Village," and the census backs that up. In 2020, about 41.5% of its 37,470 residents identified as Hispanic or Latino and about 17% as Asian. That is a customer base where a second language on a work vehicle can make real sense.
What that means for your design
- Two languages, one layout. If your customers speak Spanish or another language at home, plan for it in the mockup. Bilingual copy works best when one language leads and the other sits a size smaller, rather than everything fighting for space.
- Industrial buyers want specifics. A van that services equipment in a business park should say exactly what it services. "Filtration service" beats "industrial solutions."
- Box trucks are the biggest canvas in town. Distribution and grocery delivery trucks have long, flat sides that read from across a parking lot. Box trucks are priced on request.
From Hanover Park to Industrial Drive
Industrial Drive in Itasca is about 9 miles from the middle of Hanover Park, roughly 18 minutes without traffic. The simplest route is Barrington Road to Irving Park Road (IL-19), then straight east for about eight miles into Itasca, left on Prospect Avenue and right onto Industrial Drive. No tolls, no expressway merges, and one road for nearly the whole trip.

How do I get my vehicle from Hanover Park to your shop?
Take Barrington Road to Irving Park Road (IL-19) and follow it east into Itasca, then turn onto Prospect Avenue and Industrial Drive. Our shop at 1337 E Industrial Dr is about 9 miles away, roughly 18 minutes without traffic, with no tolls. Most installs take one day.
Can you design a bilingual wrap for my Hanover Park business?
Yes. Send us the wording in each language you want on the vehicle, and we will lay it out so one language leads and the other supports it, instead of crowding both. You see the result on a free design mockup before you pay anything, and you can request changes before it goes to print.
Do you wrap box trucks for distributors and grocers?
Yes, and each one is quoted individually, since box length and roll-up versus swing doors change the amount of film and labor. Tell us the make, model and box size; the written quote follows within 24 hours, then a free mockup drawn on your truck's real layout.
What does a van wrap cost?
A full wrap on a typical cargo van starts at $3,930, a 50% partial at $1,970 and spot graphics at $980. Design is free if you supply your own print-ready file, or $299 to $699 for our packages. The calculator on our site gives a starting price, and the written quote comes within 24 hours.
How long does a wrap last?
Wraps are printed on 3M and Avery premium cast vinyl, which usually holds up 5 to 7 years, and our installation is guaranteed for 5 years. Washing by hand, keeping a pressure washer away from the edges and parking in shade when possible all add years.
Can I park a lettered van at home in Hanover Park?
Overnight parking rules for commercial or lettered vehicles are set locally, and we are not the right source for legal advice. Ask the Village of Hanover Park, and any homeowners association that covers your street, what applies to your address before the van is wrapped.
